Corona Hard Seltzer launched into a heavily competitive category. Despite this, taste test research showed the brand could succeed if we could encourage trial of their unique flavors while making the brand resonate on an emotional and personal level with Millennials.
We made Corona Seltzer breakthrough by putting the power of matchmaking in the palm of people’s hands.
Through on-premise activations and in bar POS we drove consumers to a web-enabled app that provided a fun and easy interface and then matched each individual with their perfect Corona Hard Seltzer flavor.
To extend the engagement the app also provided customized drink recipes, AR photo filters and a personalized Spotify playlist.
